Warners recenty released two new titles to DVD. Both are for the kids and have no real value for us adults, but they are good titles given that. The first is I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown which actually won’t even jog us older folks’ memories as it mainly involve Linus’ brother. Video quality is crisp though and my four year old loves it, so it gets the seal of approval.

The second title is A Miser Brothers’ Christmas which is also a good quality release. Again it is targeted at the younger audience and tries to carry on from the original children’s classic of long ago. I was never a fan of the original so this wasn’t of much interest, but the quality is really good and if you enjoyed the original or need an off-beat title for the kids this season, it might be a good one to check out.
