There are many sites, blogs, and other creations devoted to Classic Movies and Films and all kinds of specialty sites even within that genre as well. So what makes us different? We don't aim to be imdb or anything of the like. We hope to present some thoughts on some of the lesser gems -more than a few have been forgotten- from the history of Classic Film.
We may dabble a bit as far back as the silents, but our focus is really on the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. And we will mention Citizen Kane and Gone with the Wind from time to time, but we are more likely to mention George Sanders, Hedy Lamarr, or say Bette Davis.
And will have (and will continue to do so) diverge on rare instances into current film when there is a direct relation to Classic Movies. For example we did look at the recent Sherlock Holmes and True Grit relaunches in relation to their classic progenitors.
So sit back and read along - and contribute as you like!
